Sight Centres

Essex Sight is part of Essex Blind Charity

All our Sight Centres are run by a team of experienced staff and volunteers, some of whom are visually impaired and understand at first hand the problems encountered with sight loss. The Centres provide information on eye conditions and how to access services and benefits, as well as putting you in touch with local clubs, social activities and talking newspapers.

We have Sight Centres at 10 locations in Essex, shown in blue on the left of the page. Opening times vary from every day in larger towns to once a month in smaller locations. Each centre has a range of equipment to help with everyday living and many have lively social events, coffee clubs, games days and confidential help with reading mail and filling out forms.
