Do you need help reading correspondence or form filling, but are unable to visit our Colchester Sight Centre?
We have friendly and knowledgeable volunteers who can visit you at home to help. They are fully DBS checked and you are assured confidentiality at all times.
The service is free, but must be booked in advance and is subject to availability of volunteers and location.

Our regular coffee morning is a chance to chat with other visually impaired people and their families and carers. Our friendly volunteers are on hand to help and can provide information and resources.

Have you got an IPad or IPhone and don't make full use of it? We can offer a 1:1 session with our expert who can show you how to get the most out of your gadget.
This service is for Apple I products only and must be booked in advance.

The Clacton art group is now up and running. The group is member led with the help of our volunteers.
Classes are held at:
CADOWS, 24 Old Road, Clacton-on-Sea CO15 1HX on the first Thursday of each month 10am - 12.30
All classes £2.50 per session to include general materials and coffee.
No experience needed just come and have fun!

Like to knit or crochet? Our knitting group meets on the first Thursday of each month 10am until 12noon at our Colchester Sight Centre. Bring your own project or knit for charity. All abilities welcome. We have magnifiers and large print patterns to help you.
